Road Safety – Stop Look and Listen

This week we were visited by VIA who took the time to educate and teach us about the importance of road safety.

Our children were so keen and knowledgeable sharing their experiences with each other. We learnt about a range of crossings; zebra, toucan pelican and puffin.

The children learnt all about the Green Cross Code. They were taught about finding safe places to cross, and what it means to ‘Stop, Look and Listen’.

Year 5/6 were also given the opportunity to learn about the different types of crossings, and discovered some invaluable rules on how to cross safely; including on bikes.

We think its essential that our learners are aware of how to be safe on our streets and are so pleased to have had the support of VIA to help support learning at Rosecliffe.
